Healthy Holidays!

The season of colds and flu is upon us, and we are all about a healthy holiday season at Le Petit Spa. People are getting their nails done for the holidays and we have been asked why we do not offer gel or acrylic nails. In response here are some of the health reasons we do not provide this service:

- we promote healthy, natural beauty
- the nail bed can be damaged when the nail is removed
- the nails need to be filled approximately every 2-3 weeks
- repeated exposure to acrylic and other chemicals can be harmful to the nails’ health
- methyl methacrylate is found in many acrylic nail products
i. can cause fungal infections
ii. prolonged exposure can lead to other health problems (e.g., affects lung health)

We offer a variety of manicure services including Express, Classic, French and our popular Signature Manicure. Make one of these a spa gift for a loved one or for yourself for a healthy holiday season!
