Just Say No to Drugstore Brands

For years, there's been a debate about whether spa-quality facial and skin care products are more effective than drug store or departments store brands. After thirteen years in the industry, I can tell you that there definitely is a difference.

I've found that many of the drugstore skin care and cosmetic lines contain fillers or generic ingredients that don't provide any benefit. They include only traces of active ingredients, such as Vitamin C or A, meaning that visible benefits will be minimal or non-existent. Many of these products include high amounts of alcohol, which dries out skin. In my experience, drugstore products give temporary results at best, but often create more problems (e.g. skin dehydration) than they solve.

Spa-quality products generally include higher quality ingredients, and in greater concentrations. This means you can use less of the product and still achieve significant results. And since these product lines come from your esthetician, you?ll get a level of attention and education you just can't get at the drugstore.

My experience in this industry has shown me that you really do get what you pay for. Spa-quality products will give you better results, and your skin will be more balanced and healthy-looking.
