Le Petit Spa and FITE

Le Petit Spa is a proud supporter of FITE, a global empowerment platform powered by Kiva.org. FITE stands for Financial Independence Through Entrepreneurship; their mission is to provide female entrepreneurs a means to start and grow sustainable businesses by providing micro loans. As a female entrepreneur this is something that is close to home for Le Petit Spa’s owner, Nancy Mudford.

How Does Micro-Finance Work?

Kiva has partnered with existing Micro Finance institutions all over the world, these Field Partners can not always supply money to all the people in need nor can they fulfill each loan request. Kiva has created a medium in which others can “donate” or help fulfill these micro-loan requests. The great thing about these loans is that the money is always recycling, once an entrepreneur has used the loan they then re-pay it, this money then comes back to YOU on Kiva so you can re-invest in someone else.

Le Petit Spa is on a mission to help women all over the world become empowered and educated. Through events and general education Le Petit Spa will be donating a portion of all Dermalogica sales to FITE through our Lending Team “Le Petit Spa” on a monthly basis and we would love for you to help us!

Recently, we held an event to educate people on skincare and most importantly raise money for FITE. The event was a great success! We donated $300 and have so far, given 12 women across the world a fighting chance!
